Domestic Assistant

Remedicare are currently recruiting a Domestic Assistant for our clients care home based in Ilkley. This care home offers specialised nursing care for residents with dementia. They ensure a secure environment that promotes meaningful social interaction with both fellow residents and staff. Most of their rooms are private, en-suite accommodations. This home is designed with spacious living areas, creating a safe, engaging, and welcoming atmosphere for all. Domestic Assistant job details: £11.44ph with pay rise in April 3 days contracted per week 7am - 5pm shift times As a Domestic Assistant you will be: Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the facility. Cleaning resident rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms to the highest standard. Assisting with the maintenance of a safe, comfortable, and pleasant environment for residents. Supporting staff in maintaining infection control measures. Ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored correctly. Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members. Helping with laundry duties as required. Promoting the well-being and dignity of residents through your work.
