Interim Management Accountant - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be supporting our long standing client in Inverclyde to recruit a Management Accountant on an interim basis to cover an initial 6 month gap. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be tasked with leading the month end process and ensure that daily deadlines are achieved in order to make this as smooth as possible. You may be in possession of your full accounting qualificiaton (ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) although due consideration will also be given to those at Part Qualified level or Qualified by experience. On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include: - Production of monthly management accounts. - Variance analysis and additional associated commentaries. - Budgeting and forecasting. - Balance sheet reconciliations. - Preparation of VAT returns. - Liasing with external partners including auditors. - Collaborate with team members to resolve financial queries and ensure smooth operations.
