Senior Carer

Duties & Responsibilities as a Senior Carer: Managing staff - Supervision/Training/Handovers Managing medications - Ordering/administering and returns In charge of the care home as duty officer Ability to prioritise workload and full of initiative Health & Safety at Work Supervise a team of care assistants. Write care plans. keep families up to date about their relative’s progress. Working Hours: Shifts rota- including weekend and Bank Holidays Requirements: Experience of working in Residential setting for older people over the age of 65 years living with dementia Enhanced DBS Ability to use computer - send/receive emails, work on words & excel Good communication & organisational skills Ability to write reports and send out letters QCF (NVQ) in HSC level 3 minimum If you have the relevant experience, please apply with your CV.
