Job Title: IT Systems Officer Location: Rugby Borough Council - Town Hall CV21 2RR Salary: up to £14.13 per hour (PAYE) Contract: Temporary (3 months) with potential for extension Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (on-site only) Start Date: ASAP Job Overview We are seeking a Systems Officer to provide resilience to IT systems for Rugby Borough Council, ensuring smooth operations and efficient data management. This role involves working with the system called Total Mobile, to support scheduling, budgeting, and KPI tracking. Key Responsibilities: Provide IT system resilience and support the integration of Total Mobile/Total Connect. Extracting information from various IT systems and monitor the efficient use of stock / materials and usage Analyse performance data and generate reports using Power BI. Ensure customer queries are responded to within 48 hours. Support manual reporting where necessary and work towards automation where possible. Reduce workload volume by optimising IT system processes. To deal with incoming communications from various sources including contractors, suppliers, reps, and members of the public. Communicate with residents following property inspections Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance service delivery. Required Skills & Experience: Strong knowledge of Power BI and IT system management. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new mobile and IT systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with tenants and stakeholders. Experience in handling performance data, reporting, and IT systems.
