Job Description
Product Manager OEM- Offsite You will be part of ROCKWOOL Core Solutions which offers solutions, support and a comprehensive service to OEMs. Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) require solutions that add value – and easily slot in with offsite construction and industrial manufacturing finished systems. Stone wool is the ideal insulating material for offsite building construction applications - from sandwich panels to insulated doors and from curtain walls to precast concrete panels. On this position you will report to Marketing and Development Director and you will create and maintain a strategically well-positioned product portfolio with focus on improving sales, market share and profitability performance across full lifecycle. You will operate in an international environment with key stakeholders based in different European countries. The role involves managing fit-for-purpose product portfolios for our Sandwich Panel business and being accountable for related initiatives, ensuring timely delivery to support business opportunities and product developments. Key responsibilities include: Managing designated product portfolios within dedicated European business segments. Planning and launching new products, tracking the performance of existing products, and phasing out products at the end of their lifecycle. Understanding European customers’ needs to develop compelling and achievable products, systems, and services to support the RW-CS strategy and objectives. Generating, feeding, and enriching marketing content. Continuously gather input from internal and external sources and evaluate this input to translate it into product development/management opportunities. Develop European networks and partnerships to benefit product development/management. Support the development of adequate supportive tools for the European sales team. Secure engagement from relevant internal and external stakeholders in different projects. Ensure all products, systems, and services comply with relevant laws and regulations. Work with other departments to establish design, technology, and product development strategies. Build a pipeline of technical development of products in alignment with the PA & Innovation Manager. Manage product certificates and harmonize product specifications. Provide technical knowledge about the core and systems. Implement product cost actions and optimizations. Handle technical inquiries. Translate customer requests into product specifications. This is who you are 5 years’ experience in product management role within construction industry Expertise in construction industry and buildings Engineering / Master degree in Building physics with a stream on Product Management English language: fluently in speech and writing Interpersonal and presentation skills Proactive mindset with ability to engage others, build internal and external network and share relevant information Good digital working knowledge: from Microsoft Office to Social Network We offer you a competitive comprehensive package, including but not limited to: permanent, full time contract.
