Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position. POSITION OVERVIEW As a Penetration Tester, your roles and responsibilities will include: Conduct penetration testing for web applications, APIs, and cloud-hosted platforms. Provide penetration testing and cyber exercise services. This role is critical to ensuring the security and resilience of internet-facing websites, applications, and APIs, which process sensitive data. The consultant will be responsible for assessing vulnerabilities and performing penetration tests on a minimum of two and up to ten websites and applications of varying scope and size, including those hosted in cloud environments. Perform vulnerability assessments for websites and applications in development, prior to their go-live dates. Develop and execute cyber exercises to test the organization's security posture and incident response capabilities. Provide actionable recommendations based on findings to mitigate identified risks. Deliver assessments and security guidance in alignment with industry standards such as: NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) ISO/IEC 27001 and related standards OWASP methodologies Prepare detailed technical reports and executive summaries outlining vulnerabilities, risks, and mitigation strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to address identified security gaps effectively. QUALIFICATIONS Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Penetration Tester who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Penetration Tester would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following: Proven track record of conducting penetration testing on websites, applications, and APIs. Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and associated security challenges. Familiarity with secure development lifecycles (SDLC) and DevSecOps practices. Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) We understand that even if you are a seasoned Penetration Tester you may not have all the skills listed here.
