Architect

Your new company Hays are working in partnership with a local authority in the West of Scotland who are looking to appoint an Architect to join their design team on an ongoing contract basis, expected to last for approximately 6 months.The council have a hybrid working arrangement in place and would require you to be in the office 3 days per week, with the other 2 days available to work from home. Proximity to, or willingness to travel to Ayrshire on a regular basis is therefore essential. Your new role Projects will be varied, but initially will include work across mainly civic projects. Your role will include: Interpreting a client's brief Use a mix of Revit & AutoCAD to produce technical drawings. Working throughout planning stages up to submission Working independently on projects Working on technical documentation What you'll need to succeed Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience based in the UK Proficiency in AutoCAD (working knowledge of Revit would be beneficial but is not essential) Good technical knowledge of relevant Building Regs Strong independent worker What you'll get in return Long term contract (Local Authority) Flexible working hours Hybrid / Remote working options available 28 - 30ph (PAYE) What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
