Senior Quantity Surveyor

Your new role You will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of the construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial reports. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimise project costs. Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, and payments. Monitor and control project expenditures and variations. Provide accurate and timely cost advice to project teams and clients. Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in relevant software Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
