Electrician Edinburgh Pay : £18.50-£19.50 per hour Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 AM-4 PM We're looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and building plant as part of a flexible maintenance team. Key Responsibilities Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across all relevant assets. Diagnose faults, source parts, and ensure timely resolution of issues. Collaborate with the wider M&E team and specialist subcontractors to deliver high-quality work. Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including risk assessments, fire safety, and hazardous substances protocols. Communicate with site teams to coordinate planned and reactive work, ensuring minimal disruption. Complete all required documentation, including test certificates, reports, and risk assessments. Participate in emergency repairs (overtime may be required) and manage backlog tasks. Undertake training to stay up to date with new techniques and technologies. About You We're looking for someone who: Has proven experience in electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs. Understands workplace safety and compliance standards. Communicates effectively with team members and clients. Is flexible and willing to support non-electrical tasks when required. Benefits Competitive pay rate of £18.50-£19.50 per hour.
