Support Worker

Support Worker 30 hours per week Location: Glasgow Southside and Surrounding areas £12.00 per hour Start your career with Real Life Options in a rewarding role where you can really make a difference. Every day is different as we promote our service users to make their own choices, achieve their goals and live as independently as possible. You will be able to help people you support to live the individual life they want, ensuring they have choice and control over the planning and delivery of their support. You will enable them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support along with encouraging them to develop positive relationships and to be an equal and valued member of their local community. The individuals we support have varied levels of verbal communication. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience of working with adults with challenging behaviour, although this is not essential, as full training will be provided. Working with individuals on a 24 hour rota (including sleepover shifts), you will provide support with; medication administration, personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, leisure pursuits, social inclusion, and emotional support.
