Support Worker

Join Our Team as a Support Worker Part time - 30 hours per week Ipswich, Suffolk (IP1) £11.80 per hour. We are looking for someone special to support us Hi We are three amazing gentlemen looking for a friendly, patient, and caring Support Worker to help us live our best lives. We need someone who will take the time to get to know us and understand what makes us happy. How We Like Our Week to Look We love staying active and being part of our community Swimming and trampolining are great ways for us to have fun and move our bodies. Going to the cinema means we can enjoy new films and have a shared experience with others. Walking through our local area, dining out, and trying new foods are things we really enjoy. Music, discos, and bowling bring lots of fun, and we love getting creative with sensory activities, arts, and crafts. Spending time with our families is important, and we are supported to visit them and be part of special events. Things That Are Important to Us We like to be independent and make our own choices. We need full support with personal care, but it is important that we are always treated with dignity and respect. Staff prepare meals for us, ensuring they meet our preferences and dietary needs, and we sometimes need a little guidance when eating. Support with medication is also part of the role. Most importantly, we want someone who is patient, understanding, and full of positive energy-someone who can support us in making everyday fun Being Part of Our Community Whether it is meeting up with family, attending local events, or simply going for a walk in the park, we love being present in our community. It is important that our Support Worker encourages and supports us to do the things we enjoy, helping us feel a sense of belonging. What You Need to Know Our shifts are long days (07:00/08:00 - 21:00/22:00), shorter shifts (07:00 - 14:30 or 14:30 - 22:00), sleep-ins (22:00 - 07:00), and nights (21:00/22:00 - 07:00). We are open to discussing shift times if you are the right person for us You do not need to drive, but it would be a bonus. There's parking available on the drive and on the street. Public transport links are great, with buses running frequently nearby.
