We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to work with product managers to decide on the value of products and their features to determine what goes into the sprints. They are a key interface between technology and the product team and will work with development teams to ensure that full user stories are clearly understood, and the overarching epic has been fully broken down. Associate product managers will have solid understanding of users, the marketplace, the competition and of future trends for the products being developed. Working with product-aligned squads, you will support the product manager in making decisions which will influence the success of the product and the setting of OKR's. If you like what you hear, then we'd love you to apply This role will carry out some or all of the following activities: Deliver on the agreed product vision that the associate product manager will set with the product team and aligned squads. Might be accountable for more than one value stream Work with business stakeholders supported by Product Manager, Enterprise Business Analyst and Senior Product Managers to define scope, prioritise requirements and assess impact. Build product development roadmaps and definition of increments extending product in multiple versions providing predictability, quality and sequencing product iterations to deliver MMPs. Work with engineering squads and closely to the Technical BA to clarify and prioritise requirements, define sprint objectives and provide overall direction Oversees the development stages and signs-off features and product increments. Responsible to report product metrics that represent progress against goals and strategic vision. Oversee the creation of robust technology assets, platforms and services by product-aligned squads. Maximize the value of products created by development teams acting as a proxy to bridge the gap between customer, the business and technology team. Working with Product Managers within the value stream to identify and mitigate risks associated to the products Provide clarity to the department on the prioritisation of enhancements, new products, service and technical debt, so that all staff members can deliver the best value to the business and manage risk appropriately. Finance Baseline and measure business and user activity and performance to enable benefit identification, realisation planning and traceability to original requirements and business case. Evaluate ongoing investment of the value stream Support on managing financial risk associated with the product set including licence management, supportability and maintenance Customers, supplier and third parties Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure the portfolio is deliverable, required service levels and quality are maintained and business value delivered through IT. Communication With top management to report on product metrics, budgeting and ROI With key stakeholders and product sponsors to gain insight into business priorities, drivers and to manage expectations. With associate product managers to prepare and review, high-level plan, initiatives, epics and features With other IT principals to provide estimates, report progress and identify risks/impediments and mitigations. With Architects and Service Management to understand issues affecting our customers. With Service Management to support the implementation and adoption of solutions. Why Work Here?
