Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager

We seek a highly motivated and skilled Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager professional to manage our clients’ construction and civil projects’ financial and contractual aspects. What You’ll Do: Tender Preparation: Prepare and price tender estimates for various projects, ranging from small-scale to significant developments. Cost Management: Update and manage project costing systems for presentation and approval. Client Negotiation: Liaise with clients to agree on variations and ensure mutual satisfaction. Site Measurement: Visit construction sites to assess new tenders and measure quantities for ongoing work. Documentation Review: Analyse project and tender documents, identify omissions, and communicate requirements to the team. Payment Applications: Prepare and manage monthly payment applications, resolving any discrepancies efficiently. Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth financial and operational delivery. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly liaise with client Quantity Surveyors and construction personnel on financial and contractual matters. What We’re Looking For: Strong knowledge and experience with NEC and JCT Contracts. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. Experience in both tendering and financial management of construction projects.
