Maintenance Manager - Wastewater Site

First Achieve's Engineering Division have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Maintenance Manager to work on our client’s Wastewater Treatment Site. Our client is a global business who operate across various industries, including Water & Wastewater, Nuclear, Oil & Gas & Petrochemical industries. Company Van & Fuel Card supplied The main purpose is to Manage and administer the Asset Management/Maintenance Contract at Irvine and Stevenston Wastewater Treatment sites, in line with contract requirements. Experience: Mechanical engineering Apprenticeship HNC Mechanical Engineering or equivalent IOSH Managing Safety Certificate or working towards, or Safety Passport Experience with biological wastewater treatment processes, including DAFs, aeration basins, centrifuges, and wastewater chemistry would be advantageous. Minimum of 5 years' experience in plant operations, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Education in Wastewater Treatment operations, sanitary engineering, or related technical field. A knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the operation, maintenance, inspection, repair, and installation of wastewater treatment plant components advantageous. A knowledge of the occupational hazards in wastewater treatment plants and safety measures to be implemented. Understanding of fundamental computer skills with previous experience using Microsoft Office for communications and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Ensure Health and Safety requirements are adhered to at all times in accordance with company procedures as well as the provisions of Health and Safety legislation. Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with prepared safety documentation. Prepare required monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in keeping with agreed schedule. Develop and implement techniques and methods of process control which increase plant efficiency. Manage project costs and programme to keep within budget and agreed timescale, updating client with progress. Support Customer in emergency works through planning, estimation, technical support, proposal preparation and delivery. Provide technical support to site team and Customer. Administer required information into ERP system and Computerised Maintenance Management System.
