Were looking for a talented Transport Operator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working late shift 14:30 to 23:00.This is for our contract based in Milton Keynes. What youll do on a typical day: Co-ordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations. Effectively using transport management system to draft and execute manifests. Driver management pre- briefing/ de-briefing drivers. Conducting a comprehensive review and analysis of KPI reports. Internal and external stakeholder management Liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of subcontractors minimising the cost impact to the business. What you need to succeed at XPO: Essential: 1-2 years experience (Minimum) in a transport operation. Essential: Excellent communication skills youll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders. Essential: Be proactive, adaptable team player. Essential: Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook. Desirable: Previous use of TMS system however training is provided. Desirable: Previous use of Tachomaster/checkmaster.
