Junior Electrical Engineering Estimator We are seeking a motivated and detail - oriented Junior Electrical Engineering Estimator to join the team of our client Shaw Automation, based at their head office in Ballymena. This is an exciting opportunity to begin or advance your career in estimating. Key Duties: Assist in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimate for a range of opportunities across the team Produce written proposals and compile associated documentation for each bid Analyse project requirements, technical drawings and specifications Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes Attend site visits alongside in - hours technical specialists Liaise with internal teams to refine and support bid preparation Support with bid administration and ensure tender deadlines are met The ideal candidate will be passionate about learning in a fast - paced, collaborative setting Essential Criteria: Full UK Drivers licence GCSE's A - C in English, Maths and Science Strong numerical and analytical skills Good IT skills including being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products especially Word and Excel Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner A can-do attitude and positive approach to a varied and adaptable role A good attention to detail with excellent presentation skills Highly organised, motivated and able to prioritise and plan own workload in line with strict deadlines Desirable Criteria: Qualification in a relevant field (eg, Electrical Engineering) Experience or interest in the Electrical sector Familiarity with estimating and/ or project management software / tools (eg, Microsoft Projects) Benefits: 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays Company pension scheme A supportive and collaborative working culture Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Exposure to a variety of exiting and meaningful projects Hours of Work: Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Job Type: Full time - Permanent Please contact Deirdre on at Staffline Recruitment to speak in confidence regarding the role or email Skills: Engineering experience Estimator experience full time
