Contract: 3 monthsLocation: Plough Lane, Hereford, Herefordshire, HR4 0LEHours: Full time - 37 hoursPay: £52.53 per hour umbrella - Negotiable. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Head of Service to lead and oversee our adult social work services. This critical leadership position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring high standards of practice, compliance with legislation, and delivery of exceptional outcomes for individuals requiring support. Key Responsibilities: Oversee complex, safeguarding and legal case challenges. Ensure compliance with the Care Act and related legislation. Oversee safeguarding enquiries, adhering to Making Safeguarding Personal principles. Collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality services. Oversee social work teams and ensure operational spend is managed and performance About You: Registered Social Worker with professional qualification. Strong background in adult social work, safeguarding, legal frameworks, and team leadership. Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
