Finance Manager

The Interim Finance Manager will play a key leadership role in overseeing the financial operations of two businesses, leading a team and managing the finance function. Description Preparing and reporting monthly management accounts for all entities. Maintaining effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data. Leading the finance team looking at continuous improvement and supporting professional development. Preparing documentation for external requests, including year-end reporting, audits and PLC reporting requirements. Overseeing monthly bank and ledgers reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Fully overseeing stock management, valuation and reconciliation processes. Ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance, filings and related activities. Maintaining efficient debtors and creditors ledgers, including rebates, prepayments and accruals. Accurately posting payroll and tax journals and recording liabilities. Managing budgeting, re forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting processes. Performing ad hoc financial tasks as required. Profile Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Exceptional communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
