We are seeking a GA Accountant (M/F) to join our team in Genoa, Italy. Job Description: Objectives (Main Tasks): To ensure the accurate maintenance of general accounting records, supporting both statutory and management accounting under local GAAP and IFRS. To manage the month-end closing process and handle day-to-day accounting matters, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting. To collaborate effectively with internal and external auditors, liaising with Public and Tax Authorities as needed under the guidance of the Financial Director. To oversee the preparation of local Financial Statements. To manage tax-related matters, including import/export operations, with the support of external tax consultants, ensuring accurate preparation and submission of Tax Returns and Declarations. Qualifications: Advanced proficiency in English. Minimum of 5 years experience in similar roles in a Shipping Company. Excellent organization & communication skills; internal and external. Advanced proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Office. Ability to create and maintain strong relations with colleagues & customers. Type: Full-time contract. Permanent Contract.
