Job Title: Power Apps Developer Job Location: Detroit Michigan 48221 Hybrid 3 Days in the Office, 2 Remote Onsite Requirements: Experience with Power Apps Experience with Microsoft Azure Experience with Business Intelligence Job Description: Key Technical Skills: Experience with Power Apps: Candidates must be well-versed in MS Power Apps development, with the ability to create and deploy applications quickly and efficiently. The role will involve using Power Apps to build applications for business users, ensuring security through Microsoft's built-in services (e.g., Microsoft Authenticator). Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services: Since the company is heavily integrated with Microsoft services, candidates should have familiarity with Azure to manage applications, deployments, and integrations in the cloud environment. Business Intelligence (BI) Space: Candidates should be knowledgeable in the BI space and how to utilize Power BI or similar tools for analytics and reporting, helping to develop solutions that can support data-driven decision-making. Team Player with Growth Mindset: Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and grow with the team, especially in an Agile development environment. Breakdown of Responsibilities: 3 Days in the Office, 2 Remote: The role will be a hybrid schedule, requiring in-person attendance three days a week. The team typically starts with a 9 AM huddle call to review customer needs and discuss app development goals. Will have flexibility to do 1 day per week in-office once up and running. Development and Testing: The developer will focus on building apps based on a list of customer requests. They'll work closely with business analysts (BA) and testers assigned to each project to ensure successful app creation and testing. Agile Development and Sprint Cycles: The development process follows Agile methodology, with two-week sprint cycles. During these sprints, the developer will work closely with the team to complete tasks before moving the app to production. Code Management and Deployment: Once an app is ready for testing, it will be migrated from development to a test environment. The developer will be responsible for managing code, ensuring proper version control with Bitbucket, and coordinating the migration process through the change management system. 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply. This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States, directly for an employer, without sponsorship now or anytime in the future.
