Salter Grange is recruiting an Operations Manager to join a specialist Engineering Contractor on a Data Centre project in Germany. Due to massive project wins, they seek a highly experienced and ambitious Project Director to join their team for Data Centre projects to support the expansion of key blue chip clients. With a Senior Operations team in place, it is set up for a Project Director looking to fast-track their career. Operating across the UK and Europe in the mission-critical sector and with turnover over £1 Billion they are a highly regarded sought after Data Centre builder with a pipeline of work until 2028. Ideally, successful candidates will have general contracting/main contracting experience with a proven track record on Data Centre, Industrial or mission-critical projects from cradle to grave. On offer is a competitive salary, living allowance, travel, accommodation, bonus & benefits package Operations Manager Data Centres Responsibilities: Ensuring effective client relationship management Developing an in-depth understanding of future project strategies and pipeline Managing the operational aspects of the tender process Facilitating seamless communication between head office departments and the project site to drive continuous improvement Providing comprehensive training programs for staff and managers to enhance performance and proficiency Offering leadership support to teams and fostering motivation Efficiently managing budgets and costs in alignment with the project planning process Acting as a critical liaison to senior management and the board of directors, providing regular project updates Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project performance Overseeing the implementation of new policies and procedures Conducting internal contract review meetings with legal teams and ensuring attendance of key personnel Taking charge of overall project operations and ensuring alignment with client and project team's safety, quality, and environmental objectives Implementing effective management systems throughout the construction process, particularly related to subcontractor management Initiating targeted staff training initiatives when necessary Assessing financial and commercial contracting matters in collaboration with the Project Q.S. and Project Manager Resolving any internal or external disputes promptly and effectively Take advantage of this incredible opportunity to be part of an exciting division Apply now or contact Darren at Salter Grange at 078 – (phone number removed)
