Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Account Director – Broker Partnership (London/Home hybrid flexible working) Following continued growth across our Insurance division, we have created a new Account Director role to join our Partnership Management team. Focusing on two key MTP relationships, you will be instrumental in strategic planning, development and execution of the Major Trading Partner distribution strategy across QBE EO. Your new Role: Strategy and Planning Specific responsibility and accountability for assigned Major Trading Partner Accounts. Lead the progress of the MTP distribution strategy encompassing product & distribution channels across QBE EO Work with Senior Leadership to drive delivery of the individual broker plans, aligned to business planning targets, managing performance against key performance indicators including new business, cross sell & renewal retention Working with the Head of Partnership Management in the development & management of external broker relationships aligned to broker planning targets ensuring the business is connected with key decision makers at every level of key broker partners Policy, Process and Procedures Manage the coordination of broker correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, briefing papers and presentations for meetings / conferences across EO for selected MTP’s Environmental Awareness/Customer Focus Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers to support constructive, mutually beneficial relationships Contribution to internal & external broker communications including broker newsletters/market reports whilst attending relevant events Engagement with key stakeholders across the business including underwriting, legal, operations, claims, finance and actuarial Technical Performance Manage, service and review MTP’s to ensure progress toward business plan objectives Monitor and review assigned MTP broker business to ensure progress toward business plan objectives, identify any underperformance and solve any issues that may arise Act as a point of reference to guide and advise others to ensure the sharing of knowledge and best practice About You: Clear knowledge of the Insurance Market with experience partnering with trading partners on a strategic basis Broad and deep knowledge of broker market and drivers Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills Clear negotiating skills coupled with the ability to manage external relationships well Intermediate proficiency in relevant software, including Excel and other departmental tools Why QBE?
