Project Manager – Façade & Glazing Specialist An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading façade and glazing contractor. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with Schüco systems, while familiarity with Aluprof is desirable. Key Details: Competitive salary based on experience Fully expensed company vehicle provided Death in service benefit Contributory pension scheme 25 days annual leave (increasing with service) Management of commercial projects ranging from £1m to £8m Opportunity to work with industry-leading façade and glazing solutions Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage façade/glazing packages from inception to completion, ensuring client specifications and requirements are met. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets while maintaining tight control over project costs. Monitor project progress and liaise with the Quantity Surveyor to track costs and financial performance. Compile method statements and risk assessments to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Attend regular progress meetings with clients, architects, and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns. Coordinate and supervise both LOSC and bona-fide subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project requirements. Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation, conducting on-site risk assessments and safety audits. Carry out safety inspections to uphold site and construction safety standards and mitigate risks proactively. Prepare and review site reports, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of project status. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, adapting plans as necessary. Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain high levels of collaboration and efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the company, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains. Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager within the façade and glazing industry, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects. Extensive knowledge of Schüco systems (essential); experience with Aluprof systems (desirable). Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within budget and timeline constraints. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to ensuring high safety standards on-site. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address project challenges proactively. Proficiency in project management software and tools to track project progress and performance.
