Residential Childcare Assessor 12-month fixed term contract (could then lead to permanent) Home based and mainly remote learners, but occasionally some travel Full time 37.5 hours per week Seeking people who reside in either Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Gloucester, Reading, Watford – anyone who can get to one of these locations for occasional visits if needed to see learners in the workplace Duties We are seeking a qualified Assessor to deliver young people and families residential childcare Deliver level 3 and 5 to levy and non-levy paying employers for level 4 and 5 Children, young people, and families apprenticeship standards Remote role from home and one to one visit with learners when required in the workplace Must have experience of working and delivering training in a residential care setting The learners are dealing with aged 6-to-25-year-olds within supported accommodation and residential homes and special schools Providing a varied programme of delivery Occasional group teaching One to one remote and occasional visits Embed functional skills level 2 in English and Mathematics when needed to assist the Tutor Attending standardisation meetings Using the electronic portfolio system to record learner interventions, reviews, and upload work Maintain learner information Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5pm 1 hour lunch Salary and Benefits £31,486 to £37,058 per annum Mileage paid Permanent role 25 days Holiday and an extra 3.5 days at Christmas stats 2 days paid per annum for volunteering work Healthcare Plan, Discounted Gym Membership, Life Assurance at 3 times salary Online shopping discounts including supermarkets and DIY stores Health and wellbeing programmes
