Causal Caretaker

Job description Caretaker - Barnsley £23126.48 Pro Rata which equates to £12.02 Per Hour Casual Barnsley Norse are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to work on various sites throughout Barnsley. As the Caretaker, you will ensure that the school buildings and associated sites are maintained to the highest of standards, providing a clean and safe environment for all on site. In addition to securing the site, you will be responsible for all day to day maintenance, ensuring the building is in a good state of repair and works are planned around its service users. You will be pro-active in your approach with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be competent in all aspects of minor maintenance. Experience of working in a similar role with a clear understanding of Health and Safety related and safe working practices. Our successful candidate Previous experience in a similar role Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Able to work within a team or on your own Knowledge of Health & Safet This position is being offered on a casual contract basis, offering you maximum flexibility with AM and PM shifts available.
