Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Job description The Company: Due to continued Growth, The refurbishment arm of this well-established Main Contractor is seeking an assistant Quantity Surveyor. The bulk of the works will consist of large scale Social Housing external retrofit and refurbishment works. Who are we looking for: This role will be primarily be site based but with the added variety of working on a variety of rolling projects over time. The successful candidate must live a commutable distance of the Project. Applications are sort from candidates who have some experience of working as a QS or have recently completed their QS degree. Essential criteria required – Role Specific: · QS exp. Or degree qualified. · Competent user MS Excel, MS Word, Microsoft Outlook email and calendars. · Clear communicator at all levels · Methodical and logical. · Able to work in a very fast paced, pressured environment. · Driven, adaptable and able to pick things up quickly. Desirable: · Proven experience of large social housing retrofit projects · Some exp. of External refurbishment and EWI/cladding works. · QS degree or equivalent This is role has very good prospects for the right candidate to develop in terms of their knowledge and career.
