M&E CAD Technician

Our Client is one of the Yorkshire regions leading independently owned M&E Design and Build Contractors, with a focus on MEP and renewable energy strategies to drive down energy costs and promote leaner, greener, low carbon buildings. For close to 15 years they have been providing full building services design, installation and maintenance services to a high profile customer base across the commercial, residential, education, industrial and retail sectors. The business is looking to invest in the pre-construction design team and seeks an accomplished M&E CAD Technician to work closely with the Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers, creating and updating a database of drawings for new and legacy projects. Applications are invited from experienced AutoCAD Technicians who have a strong understanding of drawing mechanical and electrical building services systems for a wide variety of buildings, working to tight deadlines and providing accurate high quality work. Additional experience working with Revit would also be advantageous as the company plans for the future, and the likely integration of BIM modelling software
