This is a great opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual who can lead by example, as second in command you will assist with the smooth running of a busy and successful business, supporting the manager on a day to day basis, in his absence be able to make key decisions and stand side by side with him, driving the business forward. You will possess an extensive knowledge and network of electrical suppliers and contractors, managing high profile customer accounts for both new and existing business. You will be able to build strong customer relationships and business growth, Management of the internal sales team is a key part of the role, and driving the branch sales initiatives and promotions, including occasionally attending client hospitality events. Alongside this you will have an overview of the administration, warehouse and other areas of the business, to ensure its smooth running and that service remains at the highest level. You will need comprehensive knowledge and understanding of wholesale and distribution of electrical products in all areas including cables, wiring accessories, lighting, lamps, energy management, safety and security.
