Complex Care Assistant

We're recruiting experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Care Workers to join our Specialist Services Team to provide care to our clients in and around the Basildon area. You'll be providing care and support to a 15-year-old female who is non-verbal, whose individual needs include: Bilateral motor disorder - mixed spastic dystonic tone GMFCS V equivalent Dislocation of right hip Epilepsy Jejunostomy fed with PEG in situ Visual impairment Dependence on supplemental oxygen Scoliosis - awaiting spinal surgery but needs to be established on BiPAP Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease Global developmental delay - non-verbal Secondary osteoporosis - has commenced bisphosphonate therapy Buckle fracture of right ankle during routine handling (2019) Our client likes interaction and stimulation, such as music therapy and reading stories. Shift Patterns: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm every Friday 10:00 pm - 7:00 am every Monday and Sunday 11:00 am - 8:00 am during school holidays We provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the Specialist Team. We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators, and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.
