Senior Security Solutions Architect

Title: Senior Security Solutions Architect Duration: 1-year contract, full-time with a 2 year extension Location: Hybrid - Ottawa (8 days a month on-site) Must Haves: University degree or college diploma in computer science, IT engineering, or cyber security Experience in a Cyber Security role in organizations using various high-availability solutions Recent relevant work experience in the IT field Experience in developing solutions architecture IT security experience Experience working in a cyber assessment program Demonstrated experience in the development and application of security policies and security technical standard Nice to Haves: Demonstrated experience with security Information and event management (SIEM) platforms (Splunk) and end-point detection and response (EDR) platforms (Tanium) is an asset Demonstrated experience in the implementation of cyber security solutions in Microsoft Azure is an Asset Demonstrated experience with different architecture and design techniques (e.g., object-oriented, top down, structured analysis and component-based design) and tools Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of security solutions
