SAP Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with finance teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to financial processes. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to identify pain points and improvement opportunities. Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment on project objectives. Requirements Management: Develop detailed functional and non-functional requirements for SAP finance modules (e.g., FI, CO, FSCM). Create use cases, user stories, process flows, and business models to clearly define system needs. Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Solution Design & Delivery: Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement SAP S/4HANA solutions tailored to financial workflows. Support system configuration, integration, and testing phases to validate alignment with requirements. Ensure solutions adhere to financial compliance standards and organizational policies. Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improving financial processes during project execution. Continuous Improvement: Analyze current financial processes and recommend optimizations leveraging SAP capabilities. Monitor SAP S/4HANA advancements and best practices to propose innovative solutions for financial management. Skills & Expertise SAP Finance Expertise: Proficient in SAP S/4HANA modules such as FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), and FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management). Financial Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial workflows, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and budgeting. Business Process Analysis: Proven ability to evaluate financial processes and identify optimization opportunities. Requirements Management: Expertise in developing comprehensive documentation, including use cases, process flows, and user stories. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with SAP configurations, financial reporting tools, and system integrations. Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication skills to manage finance stakeholders and IT teams effectively. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose practical solutions. Tools Proficiency: Skilled in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and SAP-specific modules. Methodologies: Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Required Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with 3 years in a senior or lead role. Proven track record of delivering IT projects in complex organizational environments. Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI-PBA, or equivalent are highly desirable. Technical Experience: Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), CRM platforms, and cloud technologies is an advantage. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
