Job Title: RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant - OR) Job Specialty: Operating Room Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour evenings, 3 pm to 11 pm Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RNFA Certificate required Certifications: BLS/ACLS preferred Must-Have: Experience in general, gynecological, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, robotic, and thoracic procedures Job Description: - The RNFA in the Operating Room will assist in approximately 15-20 procedures per day. - Responsibilities include providing expert assistance during surgeries and ensuring patient safety. - Prioritizing patient care and working collaboratively with the surgical team is essential. - Knowledge and experience with Cerner EMR system is preferred. - Rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts are required. Unit-specific orientation provided. Common cases/procedures: general, gynecological, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, robotic, and thoracic surgeries.
