Tutor/Assessor Permanent position Home based and then travel to various locations (try to keep you as local to home as possible) We are seeking a Tutor/Assessor for CITB and ISOH related courses MUST BE CITB APPROVED TO DELIVER SITE SAFETY PLUS, SMSTS, SSSTS, HSA ETC JOB ROLE To deliver Site Safety courses (HAS, SSSTS and SMSTS) First Aid Courses, IOSH as well as a range of other courses Mix of in person courses and some remote Classroom delivery for between 12 to 20 people This role would suit someone who has delivered one or some of the above or worked in industry with 3 years of health and safety management experience in construction or site management experience in construction or project management experience in construction, however gone on to be a Tutor or an Assessor in other disciplines since that career. To work with a caseload of learners Inspire and motivate learners to achieve qualifications on time Ensure feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development The role is home based, however 30 centres so seeking flexibility to travel as venues from Exeter to Aberdeen (Try to keep you as local as possible) Car allowance and mileage paid as well as accommodation and meals 75% of this role is in person and 25% at home Seeking someone who is also IT literate and able to use Word for Windows, Excel Ideally have used PowerPoint ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE Must be a car owner/driver CITB recognised qualification and this can include one of the following:- CITB Site Safety Plus (Approved Tutor Certificate) Adult Teaching Qualification (AET) or equivalent NVQ/SVQ Level 3, 4, 5 or 6 in Occupational Safety and Health Health and Safety Degree NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health part 2, NEBOSH Units A, B, C and D Diploma Safety Management level 6 Level 3 teaching Award BENEFITS: Salary Negotiable £4K Car allowance Mileage paid All Hotels and meals are paid for when travelling and if must stay over if over 1.5 hours travel 23 days holiday stats, rising to 27 stats after 6 months Pension Scheme All equipment is provided to complete the role Fantastic promotional prospects
