Job Specification: Sales Estimator / Marketing Location: Andover, UK Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Estimator to join our team in Andover. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in construction and expertise in estimating, market and social selling to play a pivotal role in driving our business growth. Key Responsibilities Estimating and Proposals: Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and bids for construction projects, including reviewing blueprints, specifications, and client requirements. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure a smooth sales process. Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities. Social Selling: Leverage social media platforms and digital tools to promote services, generate leads, and engage with potential clients. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimates, sales activities, and customer interactions. Skills & Experience Required Construction Knowledge: Demonstrable experience in construction-related estimating, including understanding of materials, labor costs, and project workflows. Sales Expertise: Proven success in sales, particularly using social selling and other modern techniques to engage and convert prospects. Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate estimates. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present estimates and proposals clearly. Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, estimating software, and social media platforms for business usePreferred Qualifications A background in construction sales or estimating (3 years preferred). Experience using social selling tools such as LinkedIn Certification or qualification in construction, estimating, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
