Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for ICI new-build projects, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications. Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to determine the scope of work and required materials, labor, and equipment. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure estimates meet project requirements. Assist with the preparation of project budgets and timelines, ensuring all estimates are within budgetary constraints. Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and adjust estimates as necessary. Monitor project costs and report on any deviations from the original estimate. Skills and Experience: Construction Expertise: Demonstrated experience in estimating for ICI new-build projects, with a strong understanding of construction processes and cost factors. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex construction plans and provide accurate cost estimates. Communication: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an estimating role within the construction industry, particularly with ICI new-build projects. Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Extra Consideration will be given to candidates with experience in: Cost Estimation, Project Budgeting, New Build Projects, ICI, Scheduling, Construction Management.
