Our Challenge: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with expertise in Capital Markets, Trading, and Compliance Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our trading systems and compliance processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies, execute test cases, and ensure that our systems meet regulatory standards and business requirements. Additional Information The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $100k CAD $105k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Capital Markets and Trading applications. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on trading systems to ensure they meet business and technical requirements. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and compliance teams to understand system requirements and identify testing needs. Conduct compliance testing to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. Analyze test results and identify defects, documenting them in a clear and concise manner. Work closely with development teams to facilitate defect resolution and re-testing. Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and risks. Participate in project meetings and provide input on testing strategies and timelines. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in Capital Markets and compliance. Requirements: You are: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically within Capital Markets or Trading environments. Strong knowledge of trading systems, financial instruments, and compliance regulations. Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies, including automated testing frameworks. Experience with SQL for database testing and data validation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. It would be great if you also had: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FINRA, SEC, or MiFID II. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for automation purposes.
