Commercial-FP&A Analyst

Reporting to: GM International Commercial Finance Location: Toronto, Canada POSITION PURPOSE: To partner with the VP of Sales and Marketing to provide insights and recommendations to drive Short and Long-Term Strategic Goals and Financial Outcomes (Net Sales, EBIT and Working Capital). KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Partner with the Sales and Marketing Team to ensure ownership and delivery of the P&L outcomes down to EBIT level for Canada Partner with various internal stakeholders (International Marketing Team; Supply Chain Team) and in the US (Brand Finance & FP&A), around forecasting, planning and profit deliverables Deliver Brand/SKU/Regional/Customer Profitability insights that enable execution of business strategy Manage the delivery of key outputs for Month End Close & Reporting, Latest Estimates, Annual Plan and Long-Range Plan Engaging with the larger Commercial Finance Team to deliver financial and business strategic objectives Ensure robust Financial Processes are embedded to enable “cover by remote” within the Global Team Provide market share/volume analysis on industry and company specific trends including forecast reviews Prepare & analyze monthly volume & financial reporting into VP Sales & International Finance teams Pricing analysis and strategic support to profitability in line with brand & country targets Assist in the development of monthly, quarterly & annual results presentations for senior management Any other tasks as requested by the GM International Commercial Finance or VP Canada KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMPETENCIES: Education: Bachelor’s degree majoring in accounting (or similar) Experience: Demonstrated ability to partner with Commercial Leads to support delivery of business strategy 5 years relevant experience operating within a complex commercial organization of medium to large scale Competencies/Personal Qualities: Strong commercial acumen and mature approach to Business Partnering and influencing business outcomes Able to effectively communicate financial information to non-finance business partners and grow financial acumen Able to lead teams and drive team performance within an Agile Team Environment to deliver shared outcomes Excellent fit with company culture
