Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in capital or fixed markets to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on capital markets. The candidate should also have expertise in SQL and hold a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data within the capital or fixed markets domain. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and user stories. Perform data analysis and create detailed reports to support decision-making processes. Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute project plans. Requirements: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is required. Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the capital or fixed markets industry. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Strong knowledge of capital markets products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and investment banking. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools is a plus. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements is desirable. It would be great if you also had: Detail-oriented, ability to turn deliverables around quickly with a high degree of accuracy Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret business requirements and produce functional and technical design documents. Good time management skills – Ability to prioritize and multi-task, handling multiple efforts at once. Strong desire to understand and learn domain. Experience in a financial services/banking industry Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; to be flexible and learn quickly. Ability to multi-task with attention to detail/ prioritize tasks.
