Project Engineer - Midstream Projects

Agilus is recruiting for a Project Engineer - Midstream projects in the oil & gas industry in Calgary, Alberta. The Project Engineer will be working within the upstream and midstream sectors helping guide the engineering phases our projects to successful completion. A typical day: Support the Engineering and/or Project Manager in deliverables related to scope of work and engineering packages Collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution Provide technical knowledge towards engineering design and development, and monitors project budget, quality and potential risks associated with the project Ensuing adherence to project quality standards Multiple phases of project execution. Extensive knowledge of the engineering and construction industry. Successful candidates will have: 5 - 10 years of experience in project engineering within EPC/EPCM projects Engineering Degree Professional Engineer background, P.Eng is preferred Experience on midstream oil and gas projects required Successful project delivery as a Project Engineer on large capital projects Ability to travel to project sites as required Total rewards: 12 month contract - potential for extension Work with an Industry Leader Preferred rates for benefit coverage available
