Join us as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Space. On the Galileo Control Center based in Fucino Space Centre - Ortucchio (AQ) , we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate is in charge to perform Administration and L1 Maintenance of the Galileo Ground Segment, ensuring support to local Security and Logistics organizations in compliance with the applicable service levels and KPI target values. Activities: Operate as system administrator for CLA and UNCLA subsystems (accounting, password management, backup, SW reconfiguration) 1st line HW and SW maintenance execution: preventive, corrective, perfective System Anomalies handling Engineering of maintenance processes Procedure development, verification and validation according to security and cyber requirements Support to local Security Organization Support lo local ILS and Hosting organizations Activity coordination with upper level of maintenance and with operational teams Participation to Anomaly Review Board, Change Management Board, Validation Review board Support for meetings, reviews and reporting to the Customer Documentation review at any major infrastructure update Requirements: Degree or Master’s Degree in Technical disciplines 1-3 years of experience on the role HW/SW System administration knowledge or expertise on managing server infrastructures and data-center operations across Unix, Linux, Windows platforms SQL tools or other DBs management tools Knowledge on Virtualized platforms like VMWare Basic Networking protocols knowledge Capability to plan, install, configure and optimize IT infrastructures Capability to develop and tests scripts and routine to automate/test maintenance and operation tasks in Linux/Unix/Windows environments Capability to develop small office applications (excel, access and/or based to SQL, java, php), client/server application, web-based applications are considered assets LDAP or equivalent technology Apache or equivalent technology Cloud technologies VMWare or equivalent technology Good knowledge of the English language is required Availability for business trips, if necessary What We Offer: A stimulating and dynamic working environment with flexible working hours Hybrid working (onsite and off-site) Comprehensive health insurance Meal voucher, company canteen and employee welfare programs Free access to online learning platform with courses from top universities Opportunities for international experiences Why Telespazio : At Telespazio, the well-being, safety, and development of our people are at the heart of our corporate culture.
