Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Semilong, Northampton Hours: 39 hours per week, term time only Salary: £18,000 (TBC on successful application and experience) Contract: Temporary with the potential for Permanent appointment Are you a creative individual who enjoys promoting a love of learning? If yes, we are looking for you We have an exciting opportunity in a growing SEND school setting. This primary special school caters to children between the ages of 4 and 11 with severe or profound learning difficulties, communication and physical difficulties. We also cater for pupils on the autistic spectrum. Some children may also have multi-sensory impairment and complex medical difficulties. As the school continues to grow, they are looking to expand their team to provide even more support for future students Requirements: CACHE/NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning in the Classroom or similar is ideal, however, unqualified candidates will be considered with appropriate experience. Experience in SEND settings or supporting SEN learners. Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures. A commitment to putting the child first and treating them as an individual.
