Job Vacancy: SEN Teacher Location: Hillingdon Contract Type: Full-time, Temp to Permanent Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: MPS/UPS We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a thriving and supportive, OFSTED GOOD, SEN school in Hillingdon. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture a small group of young learners in year 1 and reception in an alternative provision, helping them to reach their full potential in a stimulating and creative environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum. Teach a small group of students with SEN including ASD, some who are non verbal and some who are verbal. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for children. Essential Skills & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally in Key Stage 1 and with SEN. A strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and the ability to tailor lessons to meet the needs of SEN.
