Job Vacancy: Teaching Assistant (Across KS1 & KS2) Location: Harrow, West London Contract Type: Full-time, Temp to Permanent Start Date: ASAP PAY: £90 - £110 per day We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support across our vibrant and dynamic KS1 & KS2 classes at our mainstream primary school in Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for supporting students’ learning and development in a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students across all year groups, both in class and during intervention sessions Assist in the delivery of the curriculum by supporting students with their academic tasks, helping them to achieve their full potential Support students with literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects, using differentiated strategies to meet individual learning needs Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high standards of conduct Provide pastoral care, helping students with social and emotional development Support students during breaks, lunch times, and extra-curricular activities, as required Essential Skills & Experience: Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role, ideally within a primary school. Knowledge of the KS1 & KS2 curriculum and the ability to support students in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team A passion for helping children succeed and ensuring that all students reach their full potential Desirable: Training in or knowledge of specific intervention programs or strategies for supporting primary school students.
