Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

SAP Test Analyst - REMOTE (Contract Position) Number of Positions: 2 Filled: 0 Duration: 6 months Location: Edmonton, AB, CA Must be eligible to work in Canada Remote position, working MT hours 8hr/d billing Roles and responsibilities: The Senior SAP Tester is accountable for creating and executing test cases/scripts through multiple iterative phases of testing to ensure the final solution meets requirements for the assigned area of testing. • Develop and execute test scenarios, cases, scripts, and steps where necessary. • Develop plans for and perform the setup of the data required Document results of testing and provide summary reporting for presentation to business stakeholders. • Liaison with Test Manager and other project stakeholders to ensure delivery of comprehensive test results. • Work closely with business and IT teams to ensure quality deliverable Must have skills and experience: • Minimum seven (5) years of experience in information technology • Minimum five (3) years of experience in a senior CIS testing role of a complex software implementation. • Experience with testing methodologies (Migration Testing, IST, Automated Testing, Mock Go-Live etc.…) • Experience developing and executing test plans and scripts • Experience testing multiple streams concurrently • Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills amongst IT analysts and business user audiences • Ability to concurrently manage multiple assignments and deliverables • Experience with a utility business (i.e. power, water, wastewater, gas) • Experience with testing SAP ISU software (i.e. CRM, DM/PM, MT, etc.) o Candidates with this experience will be strongly considered Preferred Skills: • Experience with / knowledge of Alberta Market Transactions (i.e., SSC and TBF transactions) • Experience with JIRA & Zephyr • Experience with test estimation
