Job Description

The Technical Writer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for a soya production plant. This role ensures that all operational processes are documented accurately and comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop, review, and update SOPs for various processes within the soya production plant. Collaborate with plant managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand processes. Ensure that SOPs are clear, concise, and easy to follow. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with SOPs and recommend updates as necessary. Train employees on new and existing SOPs. Maintain a comprehensive library of SOPs and ensure that all documents are up-to-date. Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes that may impact SOPs. Assist in the implementation of new technologies and processes by documenting them in SOPs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in writing and managing SOPs in a food manufacturing or food production environment. Strong understanding of food production processes and regulatory requirements. Excellent writing and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems. Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in technical writing and document formatting. Knowledge of food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP). Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or a related role. Experience in the food production industry, particularly in soya or similar products, is preferable.
