No Offer Description The researcher will work on the application of both hard (XANES, EXAFS) and soft (NEXAFS) X-ray absorption spectroscopy to the in situ/operando characterization of catalysts based on Cu ions, to reach an integrated understanding of local structure, electronic properties, and reactivity in the investigated systems, with an emphasis on the selective oxidation of light alkanes. In particular, the researcher will participate in data collection campaigns at Large Scale Facilities and will systematically analyze the obtained datasets, also applying and developing novel methodologies based on statistical/multivariate analysis and combination with theoretical modelling.
