No Offer Description This position involves collaborative research in biometrics with emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) methodologies. The successful candidate will be part of a team that investigates cognitive biometric identifiers (e.g. EEG), vein biometrics, and wearable biometrics, and develops and evaluates AI/ML methods applied to biometrics. Emphasis will be given to the development and evaluation of biometric systems operating “in the wild” and at a “distance,” both in terms of recognition performance and in terms of privacy preservation, with the development of biometric cryptosystems.
