Senior Dam Engineer

Activities & Responsibilities We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Dam Engineer to join our team, specializing in dam engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the design, safety assessment, and construction of embankment and concrete dams, with a focus on structural and stability analyses. This is an exciting opportunity to work on both local and international projects and to make a significant impact in the field of civil engineering. Key Responsibilities: Lead design activities in dam engineering, including both embankment and concrete dams, from conceptual stages through to construction projects. Coordinate and conduct dam safety assessment studies, with an emphasis on structural integrity and stability. Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary engineering and modeling teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes. Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to travel internationally for short- to mid-term assignments as required. Requirements Profile Degree in Civil Engineering (M.Eng or MSc. or PhD is an asset). At least 8 years of proven experience in dam engineering, with a strong portfolio of successful local and international projects. Extensive experience in the conception, design, and construction follow-up of dams. Proficiency in static and dynamic analysis of embankment and concrete dams to recognised ICOLD, USBR, and other standards. In-depth knowledge of international standards and guidelines for dam design. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in French or Italian is highly desirable.
