Estimator

Our client is a leading provider of high-quality commercial interior fit-outs, specialising in partitions, carpentry, and suspended ceiling services. On behalf of our client, we are recruiting an Estimator to join their team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in producing accurate estimates and costings, helping secure projects and contributing to their successful delivery. Estimator Package: Up to £45,000 20 days holiday BH Company pension scheme Travel expenses (mileage) Estimator Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain detailed and accurate estimates for commercial interior fit-out projects, including partitions, carpentry, and suspended ceilings. Analyse project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to understand client requirements. Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary data for accurate estimates. Identify and engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes. Perform cost analysis and value engineering to deliver cost-effective solutions for clients. Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and bid presentations. Monitor market trends, including material costs and labour rates, to ensure accurate pricing. Collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure estimates align with project delivery strategies. Provide support in negotiations with clients to secure contracts. Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotes, and supporting documents. Estimator Key Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or commercial interiors sector. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and pricing structures. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Experience in commercial interior fit-outs, particularly partitions, carpentry, and ceilings.
