Construction Manager

Construction Site Manager Exeter We are looking for a highly skilled Construction Site Manager to oversee a large BESS project. As the number one on site, you will be responsible as the Principal Contractor for the on-site management and coordination of all activities, reporting upwards to the Project Manager. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure project completion on time and within budget. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture on site. Manage and supervise the site team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high performance and efficient operation. Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for the Project Manager and senior management. Address any issues or challenges that arise on-site promptly and effectively. Maintain high-quality standards and ensure that all work meets the required specifications and standards. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are desirable.
